Why do I have a recipe for cocoa? Well, I have been known to have heated arguments with a certain person over the validity of so-called "instant" cocoa that comes in cartoon fetish boxes. Besides, I like Hershey's Cocoa, dammit. And this is how I make cocoa. My cocoa is not watered down, and it definitely does not mess around. I got the idea for this, and most of the recipe, from my aunt Judy. If you are out there, thank you. :-)
Add to this:
Add enough water (temperature unimportant) and mix it in well, so that the mixture has the consistency of chocolate syrup. Heat in microwave until it boils (you can tell because it starts to rise up the sides.) Don't let it boil over! Otherwise you will get a sticky, extremely hot mess.
Add gradually while stirring:
Heat according to your liking; now drink -- but carefully -- and enjoy.
